About Me
Hi, I'm Missy, the maker behind Cozy Comforts.
Creating has always been one of my greatest joys. Whether it's crocheting hats, scarves, Afghans, throws, sewing quilts, spinning yarn, painting, or making therapeutic corn and rice bags, I've always found happiness in making something meaningful with my hands and sharing it with others.
Encouraging others has always been just as important to me as creating. For more than six years, I've shared uplifting Scripture on Facebook (www.facebook.com/scriptureboards) to spread hope and positivity online. I've also painted hundreds of scripture rocks and hidden them in parks and around my community, praying they would bring a smile or a word of encouragement to whoever discovered them. I've painted Scripture on canvas and donated many of those pieces to charities and fundraising events, believing that even small acts of kindness can make a lasting difference.
Most recently, I earned my Psychology degree from Mid-America Christian University. It was a lifelong dream and a bucket-list goal that I'm incredibly thankful to have accomplished. My Cozy Comfort sales help me work toward paying off the student loans from that dream while continuing doing what I love—creating handcrafted items that bring comfort, warmth, and encouragement to others.
Every item is thoughtfully handmade in my home with love, care, and attention to detail. We are a dog-friendly home, and while every effort is made to keep products clean and carefully prepared, I like to be transparent for those with pet allergies.
Thank you so much for visiting my website and supporting my small business. It truly means more than you know. I hope something here brings you or someone you love a little extra comfort, and I pray you leave encouraged, knowing that everything you find at Cozy Comforts has been made with love.
Thank you, Missy
